Inclusion Mentor/Behaviour SupportSalary: Competitive day rate based on Pro RataHours: 37.5 hours per week, term-time only (8.00am-4.00pm)Start date: As soon as possibleLocation: West Sussex (11-18 secondary school)An ambitious and inclusive secondary school on the south coast of West Sussex is seeking to appoint a confident, enthusiastic and resilient Inclusion Mentor to support students facing barriers to learning and engagement.This role is based within a School Provision, working as part of a committed and experienced team. You will support vulnerable and sometimes challenging students, helping them to re-engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes.The RoleAs an Inclusion Mentor, you will:Support students at risk of exclusion to overcome barriers to learningWork with individuals and small groups to improve behaviour, self-esteem and engagementDeliver and support structured interventions, including literacy and numeracyHelp students develop independence, resilience and positive learning behavioursWork closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, parents/carers and external agenciesPromote student wellbeing, inclusion and safeguarding at all timesThe Ideal CandidateYou will be:Calm, patient and consistent, with the ability to build strong relationships with young peopleConfident in managing behaviour and supporting students in challenging circumstancesA strong communicator who works well as part of a team and independentlyPassionate about ..... full job details .....
