OverviewBehaviour Support Worker in Bradford and surrounding areas. Start date: Immediate / Ongoing. Contract: Full-time (part-time considered), temporary with potential for long-term placements. Salary: Competitive daily rates (dependent on experience).
Responsibilities
Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support students on a one-to-one or small group basis.
Promote positive behaviour, manage challenging situations, and help students engage with their learning in a safe, supportive environment.
Ideal Candidate
Experience working with young people in a school or youth/community setting.
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
A calm, confident, and resilient approach.
The ability to build positive relationships and act as a role model.
Knowledge of trauma-informed practice or SEMH (desirable).
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
