Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 3 pupil who exhibits significant behavioural challenges. Key Responsibilities:Provide focused 1:1 behaviour support to a Year 3 pupilUse de-escalation and behaviour management techniques to diffuse challenging situationsWork with the class teacher and external professionals to implement an individual support planSupport the pupil in completing academic work and staying engaged in learningMaintain a positive, consistent, and calm presence within the classroomRecord and report behaviour incidents, progress, and interventions as required The Ideal Candidate Will Have:Experience working with pupils with SEND and/or challenging behaviourTeam-Teach training (or willingness to complete training)A calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour managementStrong ..... full job details .....
