If so, this could be an excellent opportunity to make a real impact.We are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 5 pupil who presents with significant behavioural needs. This role is highly rewarding and requires consistency, resilience, and a proactive approach to supporting both learning and emotional regulation.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with complex behavioural needsImplement effective behaviour management and de-escalation strategiesSupport the delivery of an individualised learning and behaviour planEncourage engagement with learning where appropriatePromote a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environmentRecord and report on behaviour patterns, progress, and interventionsThe Ideal CandidatePrevious experience working with SEND and/or challenging behaviourTeam Teach trained (or willing to complete training)Calm, patient, and consistent under pressureStrong communication and teamwork skillsCommitted to supporting both the emotional and academic development of the pupilFlexible, resilient, and able to respond positively to changing situationsThis is a fantastic opportunity for an ..... full job details .....
