The school offers a nurturing, inclusive environment designed to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and build confidence both in and out of the classroom.The RoleAs a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you''ll be part of the school''s dedicated pastoral and support team.This is not a classroom-based role - you''ll move throughout the school, responding to situations as they arise and supporting pupils and staff to maintain a calm and positive learning environment.Your responsibilities will include:Providing on-the-spot support to pupils displaying challenging behaviour.Using de-escalation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to promote positive outcomes.Building trusting relationships with pupils to help them re-engage with learning.Assisting in the implementation of behaviour support plans and safeguarding procedures.On occasion, using positive handling techniques (with full training ..... full job details .....
