SEMH / Behaviour Support Worker SecondaryFeatherstone area £98 £115 per day Monday to Friday, 8:00am 3:30pm Long-term, term-time only Potential temp-to-perm opportunityPK Education is recruiting a confident and resilient SEMH/Behaviour Support Worker to support secondary-aged pupils within a specialist provision in the Featherstone area.You will work closely with pupils who may present with social, emotional and mental health needs and behaviours that can challenge. The role requires someone calm, consistent and able to build positive relationships while maintaining clear boundaries.The role will involve: Supporting pupils in lessons and during less-structured periodsUsing positive behaviour and de-escalation strategiesProviding 1:1 and small-group supportHelping pupils regulate their emotions and re-engage with learningWorking alongside teaching, pastoral and safeguarding teamsRecording progress and reporting any concerns appropriately We would particularly like to hear from people with experience in: SEMH schools or alternative provisionSecondary behaviour support or pastoral workYouth work, mentoring or residential childcarePRUs, inclusion units or specialist resource provisionsSupporting pupils with trauma, ADHD, autism or emotional regulation needs Team Teach or similar positive-handling training would be beneficial but is not essential.Applicants must be willing to complete PK Education s safeguarding and compliance checks, including an enhanced DBS.This is an ..... full job details .....
