Behaviour Support MentorSecondary School - BoltonFull-Time PermanentStart Date: 1st September 2026Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 FTETradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Bolton to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Support Mentor to join their pastoral and student support team from September 2026.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced education professional who is passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally.About the RoleAs a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, supporting student wellbeing, and helping pupils remain engaged in education. Working closely with the pastoral team, senior leaders, teachers, and external agencies, you will provide targeted interventions for students who require additional behavioural and emotional support.Your responsibilities will include:Providing one-to-one and small group behavioural support interventions.Supporting students who display challenging behaviour, helping them develop positive coping strategies and self-regulation skills.Building strong and trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and attendance.Working collaboratively with teaching staff to implement behaviour support plans.Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records of interventions and outcomes.Supporting reintegration programmes for ..... full job details .....
