Behaviour Support Mentor - Secondary SchoolBury Immediate Start 100 - 115 per dayTradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Mentor to join a welcoming Secondary School in Bury. This is a full-time position starting ASAP and offers a daily rate of 100 - 115 depending on experience.This rewarding role involves supporting students who require additional behavioural and emotional support in school. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and SEN professionals to help pupils remain engaged in learning, build positive relationships and achieve their full potential both academically and personally.The school is looking for someone who is calm, confident and passionate about supporting young people who may display challenging behaviour. You will play a key role in helping students develop coping strategies, improve attendance, and maintain positive behaviour throughout the school day.Key responsibilities include:Providing 1:1 and small group behaviour supportBuilding strong, positive relationships with pupilsSupporting students both inside and outside of the classroomAssisting with behaviour management strategiesPromoting engagement, emotional wellbeing and inclusionWorking collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staffTo be considered for this role, applicants must have previous experience working within schools or educational settings.
