This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Learning Mentor, Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant or similar professional who is confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, SEMH needs and barriers to learning.The RoleAs a Behaviour Support Learning Mentor, you will play a key role in helping pupils to manage their behaviour, develop positive relationships and re-engage with education.You will provide consistent support to pupils who may experience difficulties with emotional regulation, behaviour, social interaction or engagement with learning. Working closely with teaching staff and the wider pastoral and SEN teams, you will help pupils develop the skills and confidence they need to make positive progress.Key responsibilities will include:Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils experiencing behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils and acting as a consistent and supportive role model.Supporting pupils to regulate their emotions and manage challenging behaviour.Helping ..... full job details .....
