Position: Full-Time Behaviour Support Assistant
Location: Seaford
Pay: £92.63 – £100 per day
Hours: 08:30am – 3:30pm
Contract Type: Full-Time – Term Time Only

We are currently recruiting for a committed and resilient Behaviour Support Assistant to join welcoming and supportive school environments in Seaford on a full-time basis.

About the Role

Do you have a passion for supporting young people with behavioural and emotional needs? We are looking for empathetic and proactive individuals to work in schools across Seaford and surrounding areas.

In this role, you will support pupils who may need additional guidance with behaviour, emotional regulation, or engagement in learning. Working alongside teachers and pastoral teams, you will play a key role in creating a positive and structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver one-to-one and small group support for pupils with behavioural needs.
  • Follow and implement behaviour support plans and strategies.
  • Help students develop confidence, resilience, and emotional regulation skills.
  • Respond to and de-escalate challenging situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Assist teaching staff in maintaining a focused and inclusive classroom.
  • Promote safeguarding and ensure pupil wellbeing is always prioritised.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people (e.g. in schools, youth work, care settings, or similar).
  • A patient, calm, and resilient attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and behaviour management skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
  • Reliability and commitment to a full-time role.
