Challenging Behaviour Assistant
We are looking for a resilient and proactive Behaviour Support Assistant to join a dedicated team working within an ARP provision in a secondary school. This role is based in Barking and Dagenham, within a specialist ARP in a secondary school. The provision in Barking and Dagenham supports secondary-aged students who present with significant behavioural needs. This Barking and Dagenham role offers a rewarding challenge for the right candidate, and the school in Barking and Dagenham is known for its strong pastoral support.
As a Support Assistant, you will:
Work closely with secondary-aged students displaying challenging behaviour
Support pupils in managing emotions and developing positive behaviours
Assist teaching staff within the ARP provision
Provide 1:1 and small group interventions
