Behaviour Practitioner
About the Role Positive Behaviour Support is about understanding the person, not simply the behaviour. As a Behaviour Practitioner at Norwood, you''ll use Positive Behaviour Support to help people with learning disabilities and/or autism experience greater independence, choice, wellbeing and quality of life. You''ll work alongside the people we support, colleagues, families and multidisciplinary professionals to understand individual needs, identify what may be driving behaviours and develop practical, person-centred approaches that make a meaningful difference. Your impact will extend beyond individual PBS plans. You''ll coach and develop colleagues, role model best practice and help teams embed Positive Behaviour Support into everyday support. From functional assessments and behavioural observations to training, coaching and service improvement, you''ll help create environments where people are understood, supported and empowered to thrive.
