Behaviour Mentor Location: E17 Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming school in the E14 area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting children and young people with behavioural, social and emotional needs who enjoys working in a dynamic, active school environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping pupils develop positive behaviours, build confidence and achieve their individual potential. About the Role As a Behaviour Mentor, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils throughout the school day. Support children and young people with behavioural needs, including SEMH, Autism (ASC) and associated emotional regulation difficulties. Use positive behaviour strategies, emotional regulation techniques and de-escalation approaches to support learning. Encourage pupils to engage positively with lessons, routines and social interactions. Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and external professionals to provide consistent support. Contribute to behaviour plans, observations and pupil progress. Promote resilience, independence and positive relationships across the school community. What We''re Looking For Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN, SEMH or behavioural needs within a school, care or similar setting.
