Location: Brent, North West LondonPay: £100-£120 per day PAYEContract: Full-time Long-termStart Date: September 2026 Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a secondary school in Brent to recruit an experienced Behaviour Teaching Assistant for September. The school is looking for someone who can build positive relationships with young people, manage challenging behaviour calmly and provide consistent support both inside and outside the classroom. About the Role You will support pupils who may struggle with behaviour, emotional regulation, engagement and the demands of mainstream education. Your responsibilities will include: Providing 1:1 and small-group support Helping pupils regulate their emotions and behaviour Supporting classroom engagement Building positive relationships with students Working alongside teachers and pastoral staff Supporting behaviour plans and individual strategies Helping pupils develop confidence and independence What We Are Looking For You must have previous experience working in a school or education setting. Experience working with pupils with SEMH, challenging behaviour, ADHD, autism or social and emotional needs would be particularly beneficial. The successful candidate will be calm, consistent and confident when dealing with challenging situations. You should be able to establish boundaries while maintaining positive relationships with students.
