Location: Stockport | Salary: £93 - £94/day | Type: Temporary | Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant - Stockport | Full Time | September 2026 Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting a dedicated Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Primary School in Stockport from September 2026 . The successful candidate will work predominantly with KS1 pupils on a 1:1 basis , while also providing behaviour support across the school where required. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning through consistency, encouragement and positive relationships. The ideal candidate will: Have experience supporting pupils with SEMH, behavioural or SEND needs Be confident working both 1:1 and across a range of year groups Use effective behaviour management strategies to promote engagement Hold a Team Teach qualification (desirable) Be enthusiastic, dependable and able to build excellent relationships with pupils and staff This is a full-time role starting in September 2026 .
