Behaviour Mentor

We are recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor to support students at a thriving secondary school in Haringey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you''ll work closely with students who need help managing their behaviour, building positive relationships, and engaging in school life. You''ll play a vital role in improving attendance, classroom behaviour, and student confidence.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour mentoring to secondary school studentsSupport students with emotional regulation and behaviour management strategiesCollaborate with teachers and the pastoral team to implement behaviour support plansMonitor progress and help create a positive, respectful learning environmentAct as a role model and trusted adult for students who need additional supportRequirements:Previous experience working with young people (e.g. in schools, youth work, or mentoring)Confidence in managing challenging behaviour and de-escalating situationsExcellent communication, resilience, and teamwork skillsA positive attitude and a desire to support young people to succeedEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply) What We Offer:CPD Opportunities - Through our partnership with the National College, you''ll have access to a wide range of online professional development coursesCompetitive daily rates, reflective of your experience and skill setThe chance to make a ..... full job details .....
