The Opportunity:
Are you calm under pressure, confident, and passionate about supporting young people£ A forward-thinking school in Watford is seeking an enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to join their team in September 2025. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in behaviour management, mentoring, or youth work who are dedicated to making a meaningful impact on studentsandrsquo; education and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-class and small group support to students.
- Help remove barriers to learning caused by behavioural or emotional challenges.
- Mentor students to develop confidence, motivation, and resilience.
- Support teachers in maintaining a calm, positive classroom environment.
- Record behaviour incidents and contribute to intervention plans.
Who Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
- Experience supporting students with behavioural needs in schools or youth settings.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Calm, patient, and consistent approach.
- Committed to promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Collaborative team player with a growth mindset.
- Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one).
