- Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only | Temporary to Permanent
The Opportunity:
Are you calm under pressure, confident, and passionate about helping students reach their potential£ A dynamic school in Abbots Langley is looking for an enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to join their team in September 2025. This role is perfect for individuals with experience in behaviour management, mentoring, or youth work who want to make a real difference in studentsandrsquo; education and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in class and through small group interventions.
- Help remove barriers to learning caused by behavioural or emotional challenges.
- Mentor students to build confidence, motivation, and resilience.
- Assist teachers in maintaining a calm and respectful classroom environment.
- Record behaviour incidents and contribute to intervention strategies.
Who Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
- Experience supporting students with behavioural needs in schools or youth settings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Calm, patient, and consistent approach.
- Commitment to promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Team player with a growth mindset.
- Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one).
