About the Role:
- Assist students in managing behaviour and overcoming learning challenges
- Design and implement personalised behaviour management plans to meet individual needs
- Provide mentoring and coaching to foster positive social skills and interactions
- Contribute to developing strategies that promote a supportive and positive school environment
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff to enhance lesson delivery and maintain effective classroom management
- Track student progress and deliver constructive feedback to students, teachers, and parents
The ideal candidate will:
- Experience supporting children or young people, especially those with behavioural challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to quickly build rapport
- Demonstrates patience, resilience, and a positive mindset when facing challenges
- Knowledgeable in effective behaviour management strategies and techniques
- Proactive and collaborative, with strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or related fields are preferred but not mandatory
