You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral leads to provideandnbsp;targeted support, buildandnbsp;positive relationships, and promoteandnbsp;positive behaviour for learning.
Job Description:
vandnbsp; Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to developandnbsp;self-regulation,andnbsp;confidence, andandnbsp;engagement
vandnbsp; Implement and monitorandnbsp;behaviour support plansandnbsp;in collaboration with SENCOs and pastoral teams
vandnbsp; Promote aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;inclusive, andandnbsp;supportiveandnbsp;learning environment
vandnbsp; Act as aandnbsp;positive role model, encouragingandnbsp;resilience,andnbsp;respect, andandnbsp;emotional wellbeing
vandnbsp; Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure consistent support strategies
The Ideal Candidate Will:
vandnbsp; Have experience working with children or young people in an educational, youth work, or care setting (desirable but not essential)
vandnbsp; Beandnbsp;empathetic,andnbsp;patient, andandnbsp;solution-focused
vandnbsp; Demonstrate a strong understanding ofandnbsp;behaviour management strategiesandnbsp;andandnbsp;trauma-informed practice
vandnbsp; Be committed toandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;inclusion, andandnbsp;pupil wellbeing
vandnbsp; Possess excellentandnbsp;communication,andnbsp;teamwork, andandnbsp;organisationalandnbsp;skills
