      <description>Location: Blackpool | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | We''re working with a mainstream secondary school that is looking to recruit a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join its specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) unit. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour, SEMH needs or additional learning needs, who can build positive relationships and make a genuine difference to pupils'' lives. The Role:  Provide dedicated support to pupils within the school''s specialist SEMH unit. Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced barriers to education. Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour management and social development. Implement positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques. Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions to improve engagement and wellbeing. Support pupils in accessing lessons and reintegrating into mainstream classrooms where appropriate. Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, pastoral teams and external professionals. Maintain a safe, structured and supportive learning environment.
