Behaviour Mentor - SEMH and Vocational Learning Location: Basildon, Essex Salary: £21,731 - £24,195.50 per annum + Up to £2,500 Annual Performance Bonus Contract: Full Time Permanent Term Time Only New Chapter Tuition is proud to be working exclusively with a specialist vocational education provision to recruit a Behaviour Mentor for a full-time, permanent, term-time role in Basildon. You''ll support learners aged KS3-KS5 with SEMH, ADHD, SEND, emotional and behavioural needs, and those who have experienced trauma, helping them rebuild confidence, develop resilience and re-engage with education through practical, vocational learning. We''re looking for candidates with experience in youth work, alternative provision, behaviour mentoring, learning support, the Armed Forces or Cadet Forces. You''ll be confident supporting learners on a 1:1 basis and in groups of up to eight, using positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to create a safe, structured and engaging learning environment.
