Behaviour Mentor - School and Pastoral ExperienceFull-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Aspire PeopleAspire People are recruiting experienced Behaviour Mentors and Pastoral Support Workers to work across a range of primary schools.This role would suit someone who already has professional experience supporting pupils with behavioural, emotional or social needs and is confident building positive relationships while maintaining clear boundaries and expectations.The Role: Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils Supporting pupils with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement Building positive and trusting relationships with young people Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning Supporting behaviour management strategies Delivering mentoring and pastoral interventions Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience and independence Supporting pupils during lessons, transitions and unstructured times Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams Monitoring behaviour and providing feedback to school staffThe Ideal Candidate: Previous professional experience within a school or education setting Experience as a Behaviour Mentor, Pastoral Support Worker, Learning Mentor or Teaching Assistant Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour Confident working on a 1:1 basis Calm, patient and consistent approach Strong understanding of boundaries and positive behaviour strategies Excellent communication and relationship-building skillsWhy Work with ..... full job details .....
