We are recruiting Behaviour Mentors to work in specialist provisions across Barking & Dagenham, supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs.

These roles are active, fast-paced and require staff who can build relationships quickly while maintaining calm and consistency.

• Supporting pupils with behaviour and emotional regulation
• Working 1:1 and in small groups across the school day
• Helping students access learning in a structured way
• Using de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies
• Supporting daily routines and transitions

• Experience in youth work, sports coaching, education or support roles
• Confident, energetic but calm under pressure
• Ability to build rapport quickly with young people
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Resilient and proactive attitude
