Prospero Teaching is recruiting a SEMH Behaviour Mentor in Enfield to support secondary pupils who need help with emotional regulation, relationships and engagement in education. You will build professional, consistent relationships and help pupils recognise patterns in their behaviour. The role combines classroom support with planned mentoring, working towards agreed goals with teaching and pastoral staff. Your responsibilities Provide structured check-ins and help pupils prepare for successful lessons. Support pupils in class and encourage re-engagement following difficulties. Use agreed de-escalation strategies and maintain clear, predictable boundaries. Work towards individual attendance, participation and behaviour targets.
