Behaviour Mentor - Primary School Haringey Location: Haringey, North London Pay: £110-£115 per day Contract: Full-Time, Monday-Friday Start: September 2026 Are you confident, resilient and passionate about supporting children who may display challenging behaviour? Educo Recruitment is working with a welcoming primary school in Haringey that is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team from September. The Role As a Behaviour Mentor, you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs Support children with SEMH, ADHD, ASD and challenging behaviour Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils Use positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies Help pupils regulate their emotions and remain engaged in learning Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff Act as a positive role model and help pupils develop confidence and resilience The Ideal Candidate We would love to hear from candidates with experience in: Behaviour mentoring or pastoral support SEN/SEMH Youth work Sports coaching Teaching Assistant roles PRUs or alternative provisions Support or care work Previous school experience is desirable but not essential. More importantly, you will need to be confident, patient, reliable and able to build strong relationships with children who may find school challenging.
