Are you passionate about managing challenging behaviour and enabling children to access education? A dedicated SEMH School in Newbury are looking for a new Behaviour Mentor to join their team of Learning Support Assistants as soon as possible. Within this role, you will be working to support students who display challenging behaviours a part of a wider SEN or SEMH diagnosis. Many of the pupils at the school have needs such as ASD, ADHD, behavioural difficulties or attachment disorders and have barriers to education, requiring tailored 1:1 support. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work with outer agency professionals to provide high quality assistance to all pupils, adapting the National Curriculum to make it more accessible, and provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
