In the morning, you will support a Year 3 pupil with SEMH and Pathological Demand Avoidance, helping with emotional regulation and reintegration into the classroom. In the afternoon, you will work with a Year 5 pupil with SEMH needs, supporting behaviour, engagement and learning.The school has a strong SEN team and supportive leadership, making it a great environment for a resilient teaching assistant who enjoys building positive relationships with pupils who need consistent support.The RoleProvide 1:1 support across Year 3 and Year 5Support a Year 3 pupil and Year 5 with SEMH and PDA, including classroom reintegrationWork both inside and outside the classroomAssist in supporting children with Outdoor play and learning Support learning tasks, emotional regulation and behaviour strategiesBuild consistent, trusting relationships with pupilsWork closely with teachers and the SENCOThe Ideal CandidateLevel 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant experience)Experience supporting SEMH or behavioural needsUnderstanding of PDA ..... full job details .....
