Behaviour MentorHaringey, North London 110 - 125 per day September Start Full-Time Long-TermAbout the RoleLong Term Futures are working with an inclusive primary school in Haringey to recruit a Behaviour Mentor to support pupils within the school''s Additionally Resourced Base.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, SEMH, ADHD, or complex behavioural needs. You will work closely with pupils who require additional support to access learning, develop emotional regulation, and build positive relationships within a structured specialist setting.Key responsibilities include:Providing 1:1 and small group behaviour support within the Additionally Resourced BaseSupporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder, SEMH, ADHD, and communication needsUsing positive behaviour management strategies to promote engagement and emotional regulationAssisting pupils with transitions, routines, and social interactionWorking closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider multidisciplinary teamCreating a calm, consistent, and nurturing learning environmentSupporting pupils to achieve both academic and personal development targetsAbout the SchoolThis welcoming primary school has a well-established Additionally Resourced Base, providing specialist provision for pupils with additional needs while promoting inclusion across the wider school.
