The school has a robust internal behaviour team and a well-structured referral system designed to support pupils at risk of disengagement.The role will suit someone with experience supporting young people facing barriers to learning, particularly those with SEMH needs or behavioural challenges.Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for students displaying challenging behaviour or disengagement Assist in the de-escalation of incidents and re-integration of students back into learning environments Monitor academic progress and pastoral targets alongside teaching staff and Heads of Year Deliver mentoring programmes, daily check-ins, and behaviour-focused interventions Work with the school''s safeguarding and pastoral teams to support wider student wellbeingIdeal Candidate Will Have: Experience working with secondary students with SEMH or behaviour needs A calm, confident, and consistent approach to behaviour management Ability to build strong relationships with both students and colleagues A background in youth work, inclusion, PRU, or similar settings is highly desirableLocation ..... full job details .....
