Experience supporting challenging behaviour is essential, and positive handling / restraint training is desirable for this role.Whilst the right candidate will be firm but fair, empathy and the ability to build trusting relationships is essential.About the RoleWorking closely with class teachers, SENCo, and other professionals, your responsibilities will include but won''t be limited to: Providing dedicated 1:1 and/or small group behaviour support throughout the school day Supporting pupils to regulate emotions and remain engaged in learning Using structured routines, clear expectations and positive reinforcement Implementing behaviour plans and strategies agreed by the SENCo Using positive handling / restraint techniques when required in line with school policy Supporting learning during lessons while maintaining behaviour boundaries Helping the pupil develop resilience, ..... full job details .....
