This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils within the school''s inclusion provision, supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who is calm, patient, and passionate about helping young people succeed. You''ll play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, improving engagement, and supporting pupils to successfully access mainstream education. About the Role Working closely with teaching staff, the SENCO, pastoral teams, and senior leaders, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils within the school''s inclusion provision Supporting pupils with SEMH and SEND to engage positively with learning and school life Helping pupils develop strategies to regulate emotions and manage behaviour effectively Building strong, trusting relationships while maintaining clear and consistent boundaries Supporting pupils during reintegration into mainstream lessons where appropriate Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour using restorative and positive behaviour management ..... full job details .....
