Aspire People have partnered with a SEN school in Hinckley who are looking for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join their supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience working with children and young people who may display challenging behaviour, emotional difficulties or additional needs, and who is passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning. About the Role As a Behaviour Mentor, you will provide tailored support to pupils who require additional guidance with their behaviour, emotional wellbeing and engagement in education. You will be responsible for: Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupilsSupporting children with challenging and complex behavioursHelping pupils develop positive behaviour and coping strategiesSupporting emotional regulation and social developmentBuilding positive and trusting relationships with pupilsHelping pupils re-engage with learning and the school environmentDe-escalating challenging situations calmly and appropriatelyWorking closely with teachers, SEN staff and other professionalsEncouraging positive choices, confidence and independenceHelping create a safe, structured and supportive environment The Ideal Candidate We''re looking for someone who: Has previous experience working with children or ..... full job details .....
