Behaviour Mentor - Alternative Provision and SEMHFull-Time and Long-Term Opportunities Aspire PeopleAspire People are looking for experienced Behaviour Mentors to support pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs across schools, alternative provisions and specialist settings.This role is particularly suited to candidates who have already worked with young people who have struggled to engage with mainstream education and understand the importance of consistency, boundaries and positive relationships.The Role: Providing 1:1 and small-group support Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs Helping pupils re-engage with learning and education Managing and de-escalating challenging situations Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour Building strong, consistent relationships with pupils Delivering mentoring and targeted interventions Supporting pupils during lessons, transitions and unstructured periods Working alongside teachers, pastoral staff and external professionalsThe Ideal Candidate: Experience working within alternative provision, PRUs or specialist settings Professional experience supporting pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour Confident managing challenging situations calmly and consistently Strong understanding of behaviour and emotional regulation Resilient, patient and adaptable approach Able to establish clear boundaries while building positive relationships Previous 1:1 support experience is highly desirableRelevant backgrounds may include: ..... full job details .....
