Full Time 36 hours per week | Term Time Only

Affinity Partnerships is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust for a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join the team at The Pride Academy.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people by supporting their personal development, emotional wellbeing, and engagement in learning.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who may experience social, emotional, behavioural, or communication challenges. You will provide individual and small-group support, helping students develop positive behaviours, build resilience, and achieve their full potential both in and beyond the classroom.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide mentoring and pastoral support to students.
  • Build positive, trusted relationships that encourage engagement and progress.
  • Support the implementation of behaviour and intervention plans.
  • Promote positive behaviour, attendance, and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and external professionals.
  • Monitor and record student progress and contribute to reviews and planning.


About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about supporting young people.
  • Patient, resilient, and empathetic.
  • Confident in managing challenging behaviour positively and professionally.
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced in education, youth work, social care, mentoring, or a similar setting.

Experience supporting children and young people with SEN, SEMH, Autism (ASC), ADHD, or additional needs would be advantageous.
