A welcoming school in Chippenham, Wiltshire is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join its support and pastoral team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work closely with children, helping them develop positive behaviours, improve their engagement with education, and build the skills they need to thrive. The successful candidate will provide consistent, individualised support to children who may need additional guidance with their emotional wellbeing, behaviour, relationships, or ability to access learning. The Role As a Behaviour Mentor, you will provide focused support to children both in the classroom and across the wider school environment. You will develop strong relationships with children, understand the factors contributing to their behaviour, and help them develop practical strategies for managing challenges more successfully. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering one-to-one and small-group mentoring for children with behavioural, emotional, or social needs. Establishing positive relationships built on trust, consistency, and clear boundaries.
