We are currently looking for a caring, committed and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Swindon.This is an excellent opportunity to provide tailored support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), alongside behavioural, emotional and social needs. The position would suit experienced Behaviour Mentors, Teaching Assistants and support workers, as well as graduates or individuals looking to develop a career within Psychology, Behaviour Support, Pastoral Care, Education or SEND.The RoleAs a Behaviour Mentor, you will play an important role in helping children develop positive behaviours, confidence and emotional resilience. Your duties will include:Providing individual and small-group support to children throughout the school day.Developing positive and trusting relationships that help children feel safe, valued and supported.Putting agreed behaviour strategies and personalised support plans into practice.Helping children develop appropriate social skills, communication and positive relationships with others.Supporting children to return to learning and remain engaged when behavioural or emotional difficulties arise.Working closely with teachers, pastoral teams and other staff to monitor behaviour and contribute to children''s development.Encouraging children to recognise their emotions, understand their behaviour and develop more ..... full job details .....
