Behaviour Intervention Specialist / Teaching Assistant - PRU School Location: South London Pay: 95- 115 per day Start: ASAP Contract: Full-time, term time onlyRemedy Education are seeking a resilient and experienced Behaviour Intervention Specialist / Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in South London.This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting students with complex behavioural needs, SEMH, and pupils at risk of offending behaviour. The successful candidate will work as part of a specialist team supporting young people who require a highly structured and therapeutic learning environment.You will play a key role in supporting pupils with high-risk behaviours, delivering targeted intervention programmes, and working alongside senior staff to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting pupils with SEMH needs and complex behavioural presentationsDelivering targeted behaviour and intervention programmesSupporting pupils who may be known to youth justice services or MAPPA processesImplementing behaviour support plans and risk management strategiesWorking closely with pastoral teams, safeguarding leads, and external agenciesSupporting pupils to regulate behaviour and engage positively with learningPromoting positive behaviour, inclusion, and emotional wellbeingSupporting staff in managing challenging situations calmly and safelyRequirementsExperience working in a PRU, alternative provision, or ..... full job details .....
