The school offers a nurturing and inclusive environment where every pupil is supported to develop their confidence, resilience, and readiness for learning.We are currently seeking a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to join the team and make a positive impact on the lives of young people who need additional support to succeed in education.The Role: Supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours on a 1:1 and small group basisImplementing behaviour support plans and working closely with teaching and pastoral staffUsing de-escalation and trauma-informed strategies to promote positive behaviourEncouraging engagement, emotional regulation, and progress within a structured and safe environmentContributing to a supportive and collaborative team culture The Ideal Candidate: Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, behavioural difficulties, or trauma backgroundsUnderstanding of trauma-informed approaches and behaviour management strategiesCalm, patient, and resilient with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAble to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staffA genuine passion for helping ..... full job details .....
