Job Description:
- Support pupils acrossandnbsp;Key Stages 3/4andnbsp;withandnbsp;behavioural, emotional, and social needs, both in and out of the classroom
- Implement and modelandnbsp;positive behaviour interventions,andnbsp;restorative practices, andandnbsp;individual support plans
- Create aandnbsp;safe and structured environmentandnbsp;where pupils feelandnbsp;heard,andnbsp;understood, andandnbsp;motivated to succeed
- Work closely withandnbsp;teachers,andnbsp;parents, andandnbsp;external agenciesandnbsp;to ensure consistent and effective support
- Monitor and evaluate pupil progress usingandnbsp;targeted strategiesandnbsp;andandnbsp;data-informed approaches
- Contribute to the wider school community throughandnbsp;staff training,andnbsp;mentoring, andandnbsp;wellbeing initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children or young people withandnbsp;challenging behaviour,andnbsp;SEND, orandnbsp;SEMH needs (desirable but not essential)
- Be aandnbsp;calm, patient, and proactive practitionerandnbsp;with strongandnbsp;communicationandnbsp;andandnbsp;conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;inclusive education,andnbsp;safeguarding, andandnbsp;student wellbeing
- Possess excellentandnbsp;teamwork,andnbsp;organisation, andandnbsp;empathy
- Be enthusiastic aboutandnbsp;professional development,andnbsp;collaborative working, andandnbsp;transformative support
