The role will involve: Operating a beam saw to cut boards and sheet materials to specification Setting up and adjusting machinery as required Working from cutting lists, measurements and job instructions Checking dimensions and quality of finished cuts Loading, positioning and moving materials safely Organising finished components ready for the next stage of production Identifying and resolving basic problems with materials or machinery Keeping the workshop and machinery clean, safe and organised Working independently and using initiative when problems arise What we're looking for: Previous experience operating a beam saw, panel saw or similar machinery Experience within a joinery, furniture, woodworking, manufacturing or workshop environment Good understanding of measurements and cutting lists Practical, hands-on approach Good attention to detail Someone who can think outside the box ...
