Business Development ManagerLocation: Milton Keynes A leading advisory firm is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to join its growing Debt Advisory team, supporting SME and owner-managed businesses.This is a highly commercial role, suited to individuals who enjoy originating and converting new business opportunities, while also delivering end-to-end advisory support to clients.You will play a central role in driving revenue growth, combining internal referral generation with proactive external business development. Working closely with regional teams and professional introducers, you will build a strong pipeline of SME clients requiring funding solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new business through a combination of:Internal referrals (circa 50%)External relationships (circa 50%) including accountants, lawyers, and your own networkBuild and maintain a strong introducer network in the SME/OMB marketAssess client funding requirements and identify appropriate financing solutionsPrepare and present high-quality information packs for lendersManage lender discussions, negotiations, and credit processesAct as a trusted advisor, supporting clients beyond the initial transaction Candidate ProfileProven track record in business development or relationship management within:BankingProfessional ServicesAsset-based lendingDebt advisoryCommercial financeExperience working with SME / owner-managed businessesAbility to originate, structure, and deliver deals ..... full job details .....
