One of the world''s largest automotive manufacturers, is currently recruiting for a Battery Engineer, to help them develop unique and innovative automotive products. This role will be accountable for system design and validation of battery packs to meet the requirements of environmental adaptability of the vehicle. Based in Coventry, you will be supporting a dedicated and enthusiastic team, on a contract basis.      Responsibilities of the Battery Engineer include:    Managing projects and processes with a good level of independence.  Evaluating battery design, including daily charge/discharge tests, cycle life checks, and failure analysis.  Designing and optimising thermal management for battery packs, along with simulations and thermal testing.  Modelling battery performance to predict efficiency and service life.       Qualifications and skills required for the Battery Engineer position:    Experience with test facilities and preparing systems for testing.
