The Role As a Batching Operative, you will play a key role in the production process, ensuring concrete is accurately batched to specification and supplied efficiently to the precast manufacturing facilities. Working with computer-controlled batching systems, you will help maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational performance. Hours of Work Monday to Friday 40 hours per week Shift pattern: 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm (to be confirmed) Key Responsibilities Operate computer-controlled batching plant equipment safely and efficiently. Produce concrete mixes in line with required specifications and quality standards. Carry out pre-start and pre-use inspections of plant and equipment. Report any operational, maintenance, or safety concerns promptly. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including end-of-shift wash-down procedures. Adhere to all company Health and Safety policies and procedures. Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines.
