      <description>Location: Aberdeen | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | A position has arisen for a Base Operative at our Quayside in Aberdeen.  Duties include loading and unloading of vessels ensuring that all safety critical checks are completed. Candidates will also be expecting to train for other aspects of the quayside operations to allow for holiday cover etc.  The candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to work both on their own initiative and within a team and have good communication skills. They must also strive to provide excellent customer service and have a strong commitment to health and safety. Applicants will have previous knowledge and experience of loading and unloading vessels. An OPITO Banksman Slinger Certificate is desirable.
