      <description>Location: Heysham | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | We currently have vacancy for a Base Operative to support operations at our Heysham facility.  Duties will include but not limited to loading and discharging trailers and containers, lifting operations, checking materials and maintaining yard and warehouse cleanliness. Applicants will have experience of operating a forklift up to 12 tonne and working in a similar role.  An OPITO approved Banksman/Slinger certificate is also highly desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.  The successful candidate will have a focus on delivering good customer service as well as a commitment to health and safety. Communication skills are also important in this safety critical role. SAP and stock checking experience is desirable but not essential  The successful candidate will also be required to support the duty call out rota (1 week out of 3).
