Assist with repairs to centrifugal pump ends and replace component parts as required. Prepare and carry out Third-Party Release Inspections to ensure HYDRO-BOOST diesel pumps can be successfully mobilised offshore. Develop a broad and effective knowledge of mechanical shutdown systems, including overspeed, gas shutdown and emergency-stop systems. Ensure calibration and safety systems on equipment are kept up to date and records are filed appropriately. Assist with procurement activities for the Mechanical Department. Assist in maintaining and improving the Mechanical Bay and stores Attend other work sites when required. Participate in the workshop on-call rota Essential Skills & Qualifications Recognised Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Maintenance qualification. Previous experience working as a Diesel Mechanic.
