About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Bartender in the UK, with a good understanding of professional bar operations, customer service, drink preparation, and health and safety standards.

Candidates who have completed relevant bartending or hospitality training will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Prepare cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and other drinks to a high standard.
  • Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented bar area.
  • Restock beverages, glassware, garnishes, and other supplies.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
  • Follow company procedures for cash handling and stock control.
  • Follow health, safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service requirements.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
  • Assist with opening and closing the bar.
  • Work effectively with the wider hospitality team.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous professional Bartending experience in the UK.
  • Good knowledge of UK hospitality and bar service standards.
  • Experience working in a busy bar, restaurant, hotel, pub, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of beverages, spirits, wines, beers, and cocktails.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Training & Qualifications

  • Relevant Bartending, Mixology, or Hospitality training is required/preferred.
  • Cocktail-making or beverage-service training is an advantage.
  • Food Hygiene and Health & Safety training is an advantage.
  • Any relevant UK hospitality certifications will be considered a plus.
