Duties and Responsibilities: Complete high-quality Viability Assessments, Special Guardianship Order (SGO) Assessments, and Connected Carer Assessments in accordance with statutory guidance and local authority procedures. Undertake comprehensive kinship assessments, analysing risk, capacity, and suitability of family and connected carers. Work directly with children, families, and prospective carers to support permanency planning and achieve positive outcomes. Prepare robust assessment reports for fostering panels and court proceedings where required. Work collaboratively with childrens social workers, legal services, fostering colleagues, and partner agencies throughout the assessment process. Maintain accurate case records and ensure all work is completed in accordance with fostering regulations, statutory guidance, and local authority policies. Promote safeguarding, stability, and positive outcomes for children through high-quality assessment and evidence-based decision-making. Working Pattern: Hybrid working.
