Targeted Support MentorJob Title: Targeted Support MentorLocation: Insert Location Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceContract: Full-Time / Part-Time / Temporary or PermanentAbout the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and proactive Targeted Support Mentor to provide personalised support to students who require additional assistance to achieve their academic, personal, and developmental goals.The successful candidate will work closely with learners who may face barriers to learning, including Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), literacy and numeracy difficulties, social, emotional, or behavioural challenges, and personal care needs. Through targeted interventions and one-to-one support, you will help students engage in learning, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver targeted one-to-one and small-group support to learners requiring additional intervention.Support the development of literacy, numeracy, study skills, and independent learning.Assist students in achieving their EHCP outcomes, individual targets, and progression goals.Identify barriers to learning and implement strategies to improve engagement and achievement.Provide mentoring and coaching to build confidence, resilience, motivation, and self-esteem.Support learners with personal care needs where required, including mobility assistance, toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene.Work collaboratively with tutors, learning support staff, parents/carers, and ..... full job details .....
